In March 2021, Rachel and Matt had their first date at a cranberry bog, setting the scene for the New England romance that was about to unfold. They bonded over a plethora of shared nerdy interests, like descriptive linguistics, literary analysis, and hiking in nature. Because of COVID mask mandates, there were about 10 more dates before they saw each other's faces, but fortunately, it all worked out.

The first five years of their relationship have been full of adventures, from new careers and hobbies and trips around the US and UK, to raising their beloved Havanese puppy Tilly.

Now, they're excited to begin their next adventures and spend the rest of their lives by each other's sides.
